In Houston we have had the year without a winter. Monarchs have laid eggs all through December, January and February on ASCLEPIAS CURASSAVICA; some cherry trees bloomed before Christmas, with the remaider soon to follow in January; I counted three spicebush swallowtails in a local park while walking this morning; and some zinnias in my buterfly garden, although scraggly, have never ceased blooming.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
