Fur Bearers is reporting that this Wednesday, lucky members of Maryland's Eastern Shore Nutria Education Consortium will receive their "professionally mounted stuffed nutria." Whether this is an educational move, or some kind of bizarre warrior ritual, I am not sure. But I have to say the photo that accompanies the article looks fairly suspicious :-). The nutria (Myocastor coypus) are being donated by the Maryland Nutria Project.
