The Invasive Species Weblog has made it to the finalist round of the Best Science Blog category of the 2007 weblog awards. It is an honor just to be nominated, especially given that there's not a chance the ISW will be victorious in a battle that includes the likes of Pharyngula and SciGuy. But hey, if you're here via the awards pages, thanks for stopping by, enjoy your stay, and I hope you learn something while you're here.
Update: The polls are now open. Vote here!

Thank you Bill and Tim!
Congratulations and best of luck. probably you already know, but PZ is recommending people vote for you. :-)
I usually ignore these web-award things - sniff - being far above petty popularity contests. But, hey, if PZ sez vote for Jenn, what can ya do but vote for Jenn?
I'm one of those brought here by the voting (I'm a CA regular), and I'm impressed by what I've seen. It appears from a quick glance both that the site lives up to its name and is primarily interested in science rather than politics.
