Clamoring For More

Asian clams (Corbicula fluminea) have been found for the first time in South Dakota. The clams were discovered in Lewis and Clark Lake, in the southeast tip of the state.

Does anyone know the next closest area where these Asian Clams were located? Could they have been transported on a boat prop or hull?

Very curious to know.
